Technology
The base trim of the Ram 1500 makes connectivity easy thanks to a 5.0-inch infotainment display and a Uconnect infotainment system. Moving up the trim lineup gives way to even more tech offerings, like a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment display, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, a 360-degree camera system, and a 9.2-inch LCD rearview mirror. The Ram 1500 has a 19-speaker Harman Kardon system that is well-suited for audiophiles and weekend adventurers alike.
Safety
The new Ram 1500 covers its bases in the safety world by offering up a mix of classic safety equipment and modern driver assistance features. Classic safety features include things like seat belts and airbags while driver assistance features covered a wide range of things. The Ram 1500 makes driver assistance features available via the Advanced Safety Group. The Advanced Safety Group is optional with the Limited and Lariat trims and includes features like adaptive cruise control with stop/go/hold, and blind spot monitoring with trailer coverage and rear cross path detection. Other additions include a head-up display, lane departure warning, a surround view camera system, automatic high beams, and highbeam headlights.
Trim Overview
The Ram 1500 comes to drivers in six unique trim levels. The new Ram 1500 trim lineup includes the Tradesman, Big Horn, Laramie, Rebel, Limited Longhorn, and Limited. It's also worth noting that the TRX is also an available version of the Ram 1500 that's available, except it falls outside of the standard trim lineup. The Tradesman clocks in as a classic, straightforward work truck that comes with all the classic features. Drivers can look forward to a brawny engine, a roomy cabin, an optional infotainment system, and comfy seats. Stepping to the Bighorn ensures increased capability. The Bighorn offers up to 2,300 pounds of payload capability along with an optional Night Edition version. The Laramie is a mid-level trim that mixes truck capability and modern comfort with ease. The Ram 1500 Laramie features a unique Laramie interior, a cutting-edge display, and a surround sound system. The Rebel sits towards the upper end of the trim lineup, providing drivers with an off-road version of the Ram 1500. The Rebel boasts rugged all-terrain tires and a 1-inch factory lift along with some impressive tech features and an electronic locking rear axle for increased trail capabilities. The Limited Longhorn mixes power and comfort to create a supremely versatile full-sized truck. The Ram 1500 Limited Longhorn features Southwestern styling, Longhorn badging, a 12-inch luxury infotainment center, and rear seat fold-down recline seats. The Limited takes the top trim spot, offering up uncompromising power, quality, and reliability.
